Gallery Straw
We started to build the gallery in the summer of 2008. The idea was to build a environmentally friendly gallery and workshop, and a straw bale house was just what we where looking for. We got all the straw bales from a local farmer. Straw bale houses is not so common in Norway and there are only about 60 buildings on a national basis. Straw is finally treated with a mixture of clay and sand. The house has a very good indoor air quality when the walls "breathe", and the straw itself works as great insulation. Wednesday 14:00 - 18:00
Thursday     10:00 - 15:30
Everyother sunday 12:00 - 15:00
